Welcome to our temporary home page while our web site is under development!

The Salmon Education Center along the Duwamish River at South Park in Seattle is envisioned to be a place where people can learn about the many aspects of Salmon--how to buy them, how they thrive in the environment, and how they came to be one of the most important resources in the Pacific Northwest.

South Park, a place we call "Salmon Town", is a vibrant riverfront community that witnesses the migrating natural salmon runs each year. We plan to build a floating class room and exhibit center that will provide visitors with direct exposure to the marine environment.

It is planned that the Salmon Education Center float house will also be towed to various waterfront festivals and maritime events around Puget Sound.
